Warrington Deanery Alpha Course 2019

Alpha is an opportunity for everyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening settings.

Our next Alpha Course will be a Deanery Alpha course.  It starts on 1st May 2019 and will be held at St Ann’s from 7:00 p.m. – 9.15 p.m. It will run for 11 weeks. 

Alpha Course
Explore life’s big questions in an informal and friendly environment
The Alpha course is an opportunity to explore and understand what it means to be a Christian. The course is for eleven weeks and consists of a series of talks looking at topics including “Who is Jesus?” and “Why did He die?”. We meet for a free meal and each talk is followed by discussions in small groups.
Alpha is for everyone, no question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.

Session 2 – Who is Jesus?
Session 3 – Why Did Jesus Die?
Session 4 – How Can We Have Faith?
Session 5 – Why and How Do I Pray?
Session 6 – Why and How Do I Read the Bible?
Away Day
Who is the Holy Spirit and what does He Do?
How Can I Be Filled with the Holy Spirit?
How Can I Make the Most of the Rest of My Life?
Session 7 – How Does God Guide Us?
Session 8 – How Can I Resist Evil?
Session 9 – Why and How Should I Tell Others?
Session 10 – Does God Heal Today?
Session 11 – Final Celebration Meal and What About the Church?
